Back on the trail!

On Friday 9/30 I drove to Brandon Gap to hike a couple of days on the Long Trail. Fairly steep climb up Mt Horrid to the Great Cliff. Nice views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Got to Sucker Brook shelter about 4pm. Very fortunate to see Bonny and Clyde arrive later that evening. They are from Southern California and great fun to talk too. They hiked the PCT last year and decided to tackle the Long Trail this year. The three of us shared the 8 person shelter. I enjoyed the company!
