Wilgus State Park to Putney Landing

Good paddling day! Rain in the morning but it was light. River up due to storm last night and current quick. Had a 1.5 mile portage at Bellows Falls, took 3 hours, including lunch at Miss Bellows Falls Diner. Missed the Windyhurst Campsite so paddled on to Putney Landing. No camping allowed at the landing, so hiked up to the highway and right there was the Putney Inn “Campsite”.
