Day 8 – Ledyard Bridge

Day 8, Mile 208, Miles Today 31, Miles To Date 202

Orford, NH to Burnaps Island Campsite

Set off at 5:30 am, good day for paddling, current up so made good time. Passed under Ledyard Bridge, connecting Norwich VT and Hanover NH, part of the pathway for the AT. Looked for Bean and SnowFrog, but they must have crossed the bridge earlier. Had one portage, Wilder Dam, it took about an hour. Will have company tonight, two guys with six teenage boys, part of a church group.
